An important feature is the Help Me Now! button. This is the most immediate way to get support from EGADZ staff through the I Am Not 4 Sale app. This feature is intended to be used in intense, immediate, and unsafe situations. Of course, if the need is an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.
To activate the Help Me Now beacon, slide it down. Once activated you are choosing to share your location with EGADZ staff. A chat window will then appear for you to communicate your situation with EGADZ staff on the other end. Staff will assess the situation and provide support in the most appropriate way given your unique situation.
If required and the individual is needing in person support, EGADZ staff can help. If an individual is unable to respond to the chat or the situation requires immediate emergency support, EGADZ can share your location with the Police to ensure you receive the assistance needed. Remember, you chose to share your location or not.
Van Location: If you chose to share your location and activate the Help Me Now! Beacon, staff will be able to see your location through a map on the app. You can also click on the Van Location feature in the app to see a map which will show a van icon indicating where the Outreach van is in relation to you. If the decision is made for staff to come help you in person, you will be able to go into the Van Location feature and watch the Outreach van icon make its way to you in real time.
The Live Chat Now feature can be used at any time on the IAmNot4Sale app. Once opened, you can initiate a message conversation which will be seen and responded to by EGADZ staff. We recognize that it is not always easy to ask for information or help in person, or even manage to get access to in person support. This feature is there for individuals to ask for help, ask questions, seek guidance, learn about supports and services, and essentially connect.
These conversations will remain confidential between you and EGADZ staff. You choose what information you want to share. All past conversation history will be saved in the Live Chat Now feature on your phone.

If you are unaware of the resources in your city or find yourself in an unfamiliar city this will allow you immediate access to emergency services and resources to all cities in Saskatchewan.

The violent customer portion allows for you to report bad experiences with a " bad date", predator on the net, etc. This can include; physical or mental harm, abandonment, acts against your will or any other experience that left you feeling harmed. Giving details regarding the violent customer, will warn others and help them to stay safe.
This would be an anonymous report where the victim is able to remain unidentified. When reporting a violent customer you can give as little or as much information as you are able to remember. Details that are helpful when making a report include:
The abuse by some tricks may appear to be somewhat harmless at first. They may begin by roughing up a girl. However, when they go unnoticed their acts become more violent in nature. This report is to help protect you & others from further victimization. Even if it seems not to be serious you should still report it.
